Attraction Is Not Discernment

Attraction is not discernment because desire, chemistry, and felt pull can intensify attention without answering what is actually present, what it means, by what standard it should be judged, or toward what end the relationship is moving.

Relationships are one of the places where discernment is most easily replaced by force of feeling.

Attraction can initiate attention. It cannot finalize judgment.

A person can feel strong pull toward someone and still be misreading character, incompatibility, incentive, timing, or direction.

Discernment adds the deeper questions: what is actually present, what does it mean, by what standard should it be judged, and what end is being served?

This threshold page keeps the whole application layer from collapsing into chemistry language or dating advice.
