Commitment Model Dimension
Commitment does not create truth because the act of binding can reveal more about a relationship, but it cannot turn a badly perceived or badly judged bond into a good one by seriousness alone.
Commitment is often treated as if it automatically validates the relationship. It does not.
Commitment can make consequences clearer. It can deepen truth contact. But it cannot replace the work of seeing, interpreting, and judging rightly.
The key distinction is simple: commitment can expose truth, but it cannot create it.
