Control is not wisdom because the real Stoic question is not merely what is mine to govern but how I am judging, what standard I serve, and what end I am living toward.
Modern Stoicism is often flattened into control talk.
That misses the deeper machinery.
Control matters. It is not the whole system.
Without criterion, telos, and commitment, control language becomes mechanical.
