***The following message you are about to read/ listen to, is most profound.

Jesus Christ is the savior of mankind, who came to overcome death and pay a sin debt that no mortal man could ever pay on their own own accord or merit. The reason for his sacrifice is because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Repentance is a state of sorrow or grief for wrong doing, which is given by God to the humble not the prideful – who often think they are in need of nothing. Repentance of sin leads to faith on Jesus by grace; this understanding is hardly taught in institutionalized religion today. If God, has not worked in your life to bring you to a point of repentance- please sincerely pray for him to work that into your life.

Furthermore, the remission of sins, intercessory access to God the Father, and thus eternal life is given for those who believe on Jesus Christ and are thus converted into a new creature by the entering of the Holy Spirit who will lead and instruct. The work of salvation is complete in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death on the cross on the third day and is the definitive victory over death and and sin. This is the best news you’re ever going to get in your life; period.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
–John 3:17

The Law

The reason why the above is such good news is simple, but first:

  • Have you ever told a lie ?
  • Have you ever had sex outside of the marriage covenant ?
  • Have you ever stole something ?
  • Etc…

Are you guilty of any of the above or any of the other commandments defined in the Old Testament ? If so you deserve the judgement of sin. If you want to go to heaven, why do you think you deserve to dwell in a Holy place with a Holy God if you are guilty of breaking God’s law?

While in the eyes of other people, you might view yourself as a ‘good’ person, who is kind, goes to ‘church’ (attending a denominational building does not equal salvation), is respected in your community, takes care of people, gives to charity, etc. However, according to God’s righteous standard and in his all knowing, we are not good.

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
–Romans 3:10
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
–Romans 3:23

The Mosiac law (first five books of the Bible) is what refers to ‘the law’, and a righteous judge should judge accordingly to the defined law. If otherwise – they would be a corrupt judge. The creature does not define the law – no matter how much we complain about sin and rationalize our ways.

Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all
–James 2:7-10

If you have sinned once – you have broken the law as a whole and are guilty.

Thus far – we’ve established what sin is and that all have sinned whether they want to openly acknowledge it or not.

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
–Mark 7:21-23

Jesus is a better replacement for the law because none are made whole/righteous because of the law, while none are able to keep the law in the flesh. All men have fallen short – except one who overcame the flesh, that being Jesus. The following explains that the law, defines what is sin, to which we can be brought to Christ through repentance and faith on him:

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
–Galatians 5:19-24
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
–Romans 6:23

Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection pays the wages of sin and his blood sacrifice is greater than any sacrifices made in the Old Testament:

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
–Hebrews 9:12-15

Repentance is an integral part of salvation because it brings a person to a proper place for spiritual conversion. Unfortunately, it is very rare for most modern preachers to even acknowledge repentance properly, let alone define it as godly grief and sorrow of wrongdoing. What was one of the first things Jesus preached on?

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
–Matthew 4:17
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth
–2 Timothy 2:24-25

The above scripture says God gives repentance, it’s not a work of man. Therefore, repentance is a gift from God that brings us to a point to of acknowledgment and grief of our sins according to the law. How else would you genuinely understand that you need a Savior if you haven’t come to the point of godly understanding what your sin is and has been before a righteous and Holy God ?

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble
–James 4:6

Again it’s not a work and God is giving grace to those who are humble, not to the proud – for example the high minded ‘religious’ types.

If you understand what sin is and don’t want to do it per se by ‘turning’ from it – does this actually mean that you’re sorry for it when you commit it? Not necessarily. There is a difference in knowing what sin is and trying to avoid it in carnal flesh vs being sorry for it and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and remission of sins. Some may claim to believe in Jesus Christ, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they are of Christ which is elaborated on later, but first:

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
–James 2:18-19

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death
–2 Corinthians 7:10

Anyone can claim they don’t want to kill or they that they are making a conscience effort to not kill, but… if they do – it doesn’t necessarily mean they will be grieved or sorrowful in a godly manner for this atrocious sin. Also being sorry you got caught in a worldly way vs genuinely sorry in a godly manner are distinctly different. There are those who also claim they believe in God and ‘try’ or ‘decide’ to turn from sin to Jesus Christ. This is not conversion unto salvation, yet a vast majority of ‘churches’ teach this false doctrine.

Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

–Acts 11:17-18

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

–2 Peter 3:9

There are those who will by the grace of God – be brought to a state of repentance of their sins.

Question: Is the fact that you  you want to go to heaven and believe God exists, sufficient for the salvation of your soul ? Not according to scripture. God knows our hearts. To truly understand how our ways are to the creator, the grace by genuine repentance bring us to a humble place to seek salvation through Jesus Christ and believing on him in faith. The following shows the state of mind we’ll need to enter the the kingdom of God:

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
–Luke 18:16-17

The following parable exemplifies what continues to this day with the high minded ‘religious’ leaders who rule over the institutionalized ‘churches’ often in a pharisaical manner with their vast knowledge of scripture – let’s take a look:

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
–Luke 18:9-14

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
–2 Corinthians 5:17

After the gift of repentance we are to be saved by by grace through faith by one name only- Jesus Christ. Question: If you do not fully acknowledge your sins and know what you deserve before God – how do you have the genuine faith on Jesus ? How do you truly believe on a Savior without acknowledging what you’ve done, what you are, and that you need saved ? This is something to ponder.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
–Romans 10:9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast
–Ephesians 2:8

With genuine faith on Jesus Christ, a spiritual conversion is made to which God sends the Holy spirit to dwell in his people. This to say we are ‘born again’ in the spirit rather than the flesh. Take notice of Nicodemus asking Jesus about the matter:

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
–John 3:4-7

On a side note, there are many, many, who claim the name of Christ and claim to be of Christ, but are nothing of the sort inwardly – and are only outwardly attempting to be viewed as such. Today, many are in church buildings. Consider this a warning to you…

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
–Matthew 15:8-9
And why call ME, Lord, Lord, and DO not the things which I say?
–Luke 6:46

The people who are “Christians” only in name and not in spirit will be rejected. By their fruits we shall know them. With the following- we see that: Not a few, but MANY will call Jesus Lord – but He never knew them and are sent in departure. They were never of Christ nor were born again in spirit. Have a look:

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
–Matthew 7:20-23

With that warning established, the spiritual conversion for those of Christ will bring newness. It will bring a noticeable change in that person because the Holy Spirit with henceforth dwell in them moving forward, leading them in Truth and Righteousness. Born again believers are the temple of the Spirit of God. This Spirit does not dwell in temples, tabernacles, ‘church’ buildings, etc.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
–John 14:26

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
–1 Corinthians 6:19-20
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
–Romans 8:11

The faith on Jesus Christ makes eternal life possible before God the Father in heaven, thanks to Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and finished work. The victory has already been established. The Lord Jesus Christ is worthy of all praise and worship !

I pray that you will be one of the few that God will work in with this Gospel message. I simply am the messenger and doing what is called of me in Spirit.

For many are called, but few are chosen.
–Matthew 22:14
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
–Matthew 7:13-14
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
–Galatians 4:16

Regardless of personal feelings or hostility at this time, God will be glorified. His few will be joyful in this news. Let his will be done.
