Criterion Model Dimension
Joy is not ease because right direction can remain costly while still carrying a deeper coherence that comfort alone cannot supply.
Ease is attractive because it feels clean. But a frictionless path is not therefore a joyful one.
People often confuse joy with emotional smoothness. The result is that costly but fitting paths start to look wrong simply because they demand something.
Joy is better tested by coherence under pressure than by the immediate absence of strain.
