Perception Model Dimension
Urgency is one of the easiest things to fake because pressure can be manufactured far faster than good judgment can verify whether the claimed timeline is real.
Urgency is persuasive because it changes what caution looks like. Once pressure is accepted as real, scrutiny starts to feel irresponsible.
Perception is the capacity to apprehend what is actually present in a situation, including what is hidden, latent, particular, or bound to a specific moment.
That is why manufactured urgency works so well. It does not need to prove the case. It only needs to shorten the loop.
A useful interruption is simple: what if the urgency claim itself is the first thing that should be tested?
